Alec is physically de-aged via mad science, or what-have-you. He still has all his memories and his grown-up personality; he's just a lot smaller and more adorable than he's used to. Mole is super-protective, Joshua won't stop carrying him around like luggage, and Logan keeps giving him weird looks and lots of candy. It's humiliating.

Except maybe it's not so bad that Max is helplessly enamored with his cute little faaaace, and likes to spoil him.
