❶ Spammers/trolls will be banned.
❷ Common courtesy is awesome; let's all exercise it. No flaming, character/genre bashing, or general rudeness.
❸ Despite what it says on the tin, fanart, recs and any other Dark Angel-related fanworks are more than welcome.
❹ All genres and pairings are accepted, but must be labeled. This goes for crossovers, too. Please tell us what fandom you're crossing Dark Angel with, which includes RPF.
❺ RPF is allowed ONLY if it's a crossover with Dark Angel. Examples of acceptable RPF are: Alec/Jared, or Michael/Max. Turns out Jared is an X5 and mistakes Jensen for Alec. Max discovers she has another clone, Jessica, who’s in danger. No J2, Jensen/Jessica, etc.; it does have to have a more direct relationship with the Dark Angel universe. The same basic idea applies to RPF in other fanworks. Combine icons of Max with icons of Jessica, a set of icons with Logan along with icons of Michael's character in NCIS, etc.
❻ Don't disable comments in community posts.
❼ No linking to friends-locked posts.
❽ WARNINGS. Please take care when listing out your warnings, especially things one might consider triggery. E.g: underage (no younger than 16, please), violence, non-con, self-harm, etc. Make sure to let people know if your fanart is NSFW, or especially graphic in some other way. PLEASE label and respect a person's right to not read/view something potentially upsetting for them. And if you’re not sure, PLEASE ask.
❾ LJ-CUTS & IMAGE SIZES. For fic and recs, anything beyond the header, or a short intro, should be under a cut. For fanart, 1-3 icons are allowed outside a cut, and previews for larger works should be no larger than 400 X 400 px.
❿ Fic headers are wonderfully informative things, and we love them.
