I love the atmosphere of this, and Ben being kind of starstruck by Alec's skills, and how he knows there is Something Bad tied to it, and how it's almost like Ben's trying to make new memories to tie to it so he can have more of it without anybody being upset.

This glimpse into Simon!Alec really struck me: Alec comes forward slowly, like he’s stepping into another world. He walks like he should be wearing a tuxedo, or a suit, or anything but the old black jeans and black t-shirt he’s sporting now.
