Contest Reminder

Hi-ho ficcers, apologies for my absence - November seems to be the month of assignments and DEATH here at the University of Leicester!

Just a quick reminder about this month's Contest - Life After the Bus Ride Out (Catchy, hm? I needed something to put on the banner). It's still open! The original closing date was to be November 30th, but as yet we've had no entries and November is NaNo WriMo month. What would the reaction be if we started setting the contests every other month? It would give people more time to write their entries at any rate. Comment and let me know! Or, y'know, e-mail me (clairebunny(at)gmail(dot)com) if you don't want everyone else to see!


Thank you for keeping this community alive while I've been drowning on my end - I really appreciate it. Can I just ask to make sure everyone tags their work. If you want a list of tags they can be found in the userinfo - and if you want another one adding, just let me know!

That's it for now, ficcers. I'm hoping to have the sign-up sheet for the ficathon up in a few days, so keep an eye out!

I think every other month would be fine. This month has been a mess with NaNoWriMo. So yea...I could dig every other month. And here I was being conceited and thinking my topic was da bomb! :P

NanoWrimo has really screwed everything up - heaps of ficathons and fic contests have been annihilated by it. x_x

Every other month sounds like a good idea :D
