Joshua is such an amazing and complex character despite his almost childlike qualities.
I definitely agree. He may express himself differently, and he may not be used to talking (especially at first in s2), but he is intelligent. And though he is childlike in some ways, he's also an adult, with depth and wisdom. I love the glimpses of that wisdom/maturity we get on the show.
and capture his quirky (and adorable) speech pattern.
