1. I have Max after Freak Nation. I haven't really put it in a timeline. Not long after though. I haven't read the books either. Well, that's a lie, I started them and couldn't finish. His characterization of Original Cindy was... umm not the best and I found myself distracted with that so I had to put it down. lol. So in Max's world the Breeding Cult/Ames White along with the Sector Police are still surrounding Terminal City. She still has the deadly virus and runes are appearing and disappearing. Though I'm thinking pretty soon the runes will be done 'talking'. ;)
2. When Max writes first person she's blogging. When I introduced her into TM it was with a thought to let the Ordanaries know what the Freaks really wanted. To show them that they were 'normal'. Some people approach the blogging thing like they are in person but I see it more like true blogging. Not counting going off and doing RP threads where they do meet. I tend to adapt my Max with whatever the other muse is doing. If they write like they are in person I do the same.
No worries about over thinking. I do the same thing. I'm very anal when it comes to research and the like. Even on obscure stuff that no one will know. Transcripts are my friends. lol
