Title:  Coffee, Cream and Me

Fandom: Dark Angel

Word Count: 196 – Drabble (just under!!)

Rating/Warnings: PG-13

Character/Pairings:  Logan/Alec

Prompt:  Logan/Alec  - Coffee on a Cold Winter’s Day

Author’s Note:  Since it will take some time for me to write my “claimed prompt” I wanted to add some drabbles along the way.  Here’s the first.  I hope to make more!!

Coffee, Cream and Me

“Why do you drink this god-awful sweet crap?”  Alec shook the snow out of his hair as he walked through the apartment carrying two cups of steaming coffee:  his favored black cup of joe and Logan’s offending drink. 

Logan was on the sofa in a temptingly open robe.  Alec liked surprising Logan in the morning for that reason.  He handed him the drink and sat down.

Logan deliberately took a long drink of his Vanilla Hazelnut Latte.  Alec enjoyed the play of Logan’s Adam’s apple swallowing the warm, frothy concoction. 

Logan grinned, “You’re one to talk.  That tar you drink could melt your stomach.”

Alec smiled teasingly.  “Yeah – well, mine doesn’t leave a foamy mustache.”  He leaned forward and wiped his forefinger through the white foam clinging to Logan’s lips.  Logan licked Alec’s finger and gently sucked it into his mouth.  After a moment he released Alec and tried to lick the rest off his own lips.

Alec gazed at him hungrily.   “Let me,” Alec whispered as he took Logan’s mouth into his own.

The combined tastes of Alec’s bitter brew and Logan’s sweetened creamer tangled with salty tongues. 

“Delicious,” Alec sighed.

“That’s why,” Logan answered.
